Indianapolis MMA fighter, Matthew “Carebear” Perry, improves his Pro record to 3-0!

Matthew “Carebear” Perry trains in Greenwood Indiana, at the Fight Hub Headquarters. After an impressive 7-2 amateur career, “Carebear” went pro. Matthew was undefeated at 145lbs. He continued this streak winning his first 2 Professional fights by submission in the first round.

Wanting to try out for The Ultimate Fighter, Matthew took a fight on short notice against an opponent with a winning record at a weight class above his usual. Matthew wasted no time in finishing his opponent Dee Jay Jones in 1:40 of the first round with a rear naked choke.

As a Professionally undefeated Indianapolis MMA Fighter, Matthew “Carebear” will be traveling to The Ultimate Fighter Tryouts. Matt went a few seasons ago and “tried out” even though he was an amateur.  He made it all the way through the screening process without getting cut. Now that he has the required 3 Pro fights, we are hoping that the Producers at TUF will take a better look.
